HM126 Track Extension

Product Description

This 6’5″ track extension is designed to be used with
the HM126 portable sawmill. It can be easily bolted to the existing track and
extends the cutting capability by 6’5″ (1.95m). For instance, when an
extra track extension is added to the HM126 sawmill, it can mill logs up to
16’11” (5.1m) in length. If needed, multiple track extensions can be added
to the portable sawmill to increase the cutting length beyond 16’11”
(5.1m). The track extension is made of 1/4″ (6mm) thick 2.5″ x
4″ (63mm x 101mm) “L” channel that is cross supported with
heavy-duty 3″ x 6″ (76mm x 152mm) rectangle channels. These cross
supports ensure that the weight of the log is evenly distributed over a large
bearing surface, avoiding any indentations on the log. Additionally, the
heavy-duty cross supports provide extra rigidity to the track system. The track
extension also includes an adjustable log clamp that securely holds the log in
place during milling.
