HM122 Bushlander™ Sawmill Overview

The HM122 Bushlander™ is an affordable, trailer-mounted sawmill for hobby sawyers. With a maximum log diameter of 22” (55cm) and board width of 20” (51cm), you can cut standard 10′ 4″ boards or the XL version for 16′ 9″ boards. Its 4-post steel design is powder-coated/galvanized for durability, powered by a reliable 9.5hp Kohler engine. Key features include an auto-lubricant blade system, hour meter, and RapidChange™ blade system.

Precision Cutting

The HM122 Bushlander cuts logs up to 22” (55cm) diameter and boards up to 20” (51cm) wide. It can produce veneers as thin as 1/16″ (1.6mm) and cut logs within 1″ (25mm) of the deck for maximum usable lumber.

Efficient Power

Powered by a 7.0HP or 9.5HP 4-cycle Kohler engine with slant cylinder design, cast iron bore, overhead valve, and Quad-Clean 4-stage air filtration. Includes industrial centrifugal clutch for easy Gas & Go operation. 3-year Kohler warranty included.

Rigid Track System

The HM122 features a sturdy track system with machined 2 3/8″ × 2.5″ L-channel and heavy-duty log bunks. Standard track cuts logs up to 10’4″, XL track extends to 16’9″. Includes screw-style log clamp.

Gas & Go Operation

The throttle handle engages engine RPM, saw blade, and auto lube simultaneously for fast, efficient operation. Adjustable for operator comfort.

RapidChange™ Blade System

Exclusive RapidChange™ system allows quick, tool-less blade changes and reduces tracking adjustments. Belleville washer stack absorbs shock and maintains tension across temperatures.

Thin Kerf Blades

Uses hardened-tipped blades 1.25″ x 125″ x 0.042″ (32mm x 3.175m x 1mm) sold by Old Talgai. Blade kerf minimized to 0.080″ (2mm) for maximum yield.

Bushlander™ Trailer

Off-road trailer for mobility in rough terrain. Connects via 2″ ball hitch, features raised track for ergonomic height, 8 leveling legs (12 XL), removable tires, and optional log loading ramp.

Patent Pending Folding Trailer Extension

Bushlander XL includes folding trailer extension for transport, additional 6’5” track length, leveling legs, and screw-style log clamp.

Optional Log Loading Ramp & Winch Kit

Optional accessory allows rolling logs up to 2,500 lbs (1,134 kg) onto sawmill. Includes steel ramps, manual hand crank winch, winch post, and locking pins. Sold separately.
