HM122 PORTABLE SAWMILL

This portable sawmill can handle logs up to 22” (55cm) in diameter. It produces boards up to 20” (51cm) wide and 10’ 4” (3.1m) long. Its 4-post head design, with a tubular back beam, ensures rigidity, resulting in precise and smooth cuts.
PRECISION CUTTING

RIGID TRACK SYSTEM
The Portable Sawmill HM122 is designed for maximum stability and accuracy during operation. The sawmill head rolls along a rigid 2 3/8″ x 2.5″ (6cm x 6cm) machined “L” channel. It is cross-supported with heavy-duty 2 3/8″ x 4 3/4″ (6cm x 12cm) rectangle log bunks.
GAS & GO OPERATION
The Portable Sawmill HM122 is designed to make the process of cutting lumber quick and efficient, thanks to its innovative throttle system. The throttle handle engages the engine, saw blade, and auto lube system simultaneously, reducing the number of steps required by the operator. This means that the operator can focus on cutting the lumber rather than adjusting multiple components separately. To ensure maximum comfort during operation, the throttle handle position can also be adjusted based on the track height. This makes it easy for operators to work comfortably regardless of their height or the length of the logs they are cutting.
RAPIDCHANGE™ BLADE SYSTEM
Woodland Mills has developed an innovative feature exclusive to their portable sawmill’s called the RapidChange™ blade system. This system is designed to make changing blades quick and easy without the need for any tools, significantly reducing downtime during blade changes. Furthermore, the RapidChange™ blade system reduces the need for blade tracking adjustments between blade changes, ensuring consistent blade tension throughout all temperatures. The system uses a stack of Belleville washers that act as a shock absorber for the blade, reducing stress on the blades and ensuring they last longer. THIN KERF BLADES
The Woodland Mills Portable Sawmill HM122 utilizes top-of-the-line 1.25″ x 125″ x 0.042″ (32mm x 3.175m x 1.0mm) hardened tipped blades, which are available for purchase through Old Talgai. These blades are specially designed to withstand the rigors of milling hardwood in the forest in Australia. The Portable Sawmill HM122 is also designed to minimize blade kerf, which is the width of the cut made by the blade, to just .080″ (2mm). This feature maximizes the amount of lumber produced per log, ensuring that hobby sawyers get the most out of each log they mill. The HM122 portable sawmill is an efficient and reliable tool for producing high-quality lumber from hardwood logs.
