Woodland Mills designed the WC46 PTO-driven wood chipper to cater to the needs of sub-compact tractors with 15-30hp at the PTO. With its auto hydraulic infeed system, direct drive, and a 4″ x 6″ (10 cm x 15 cm) opening, it can handle timber with a diameter of up to 4″ (10cm), depending on tractor hp. Specifically designed for users who need a reliable and powerful chipping solution. This wood chipper is perfect for handling larger branches and debris with ease.

Capacity

The WC46 PTO driven wood chipper is designed to work with sub-compact tractors having 15-30hp at the PTO. It comes with a 19” x 18.5” (48cm x 47cm) large infeed hopper opening that tapers down to a 4” x 6” (10 cm x 15 cm) opening. The infeed roller, hydraulically driven and 5.25” (13cm) in diameter, grabs the branches and feeds them through the chipper. The WC46 is capable of chipping branches as small as ¼” (6mm) diameter and as large as 4” (10 cm) diameter. To process full 4” (10cm) diameter logs, tractors with over 20 HP at the PTO are required. The WC46 is suitable for customers with sub-compact tractors having a rear PTO that rotates at 540rpm, the ability to lift 550lbs (250kgs) at the 3 point hitch system.

Hydraulic Infeed System

The WC46’s hydraulically driven 5.25” (13cm) diameter infeed roller easily pulls branches, limbs, and hardwood from your forest into the chipper. Its adjustable direction and speed make it easy to handle branches of all shapes and sizes.

Flywheel

The 18-inch (46cm) diameter flywheel is dynamically balanced and made of solid steel, with a thickness of 3/4 inch (2cm). It runs on a 2-inch (5cm) diameter shaft and is supported by two industrial-grade flanged bearings that can be greased.

Flywheel Locking Pin

The wood chipper is equipped with a flywheel locking pin, which enables convenient and secure blade changes or maintenance of the flywheel.

Chipper Blades

The wood chipper has four reversible chipper blades made of hardened steel. These blades are spaced 90 degrees apart and can be flipped to utilize both cutting edges. This ensures efficient yard management and wood waste processing.

Folding Infeed Chute

The infeed chute has a large 19” x 18.5” (48cm x 47cm) opening for feeding branches. When not in use, the chute can be folded up to reduce the chipper’s storage or transportation space.

Infeed Opening

The chipper’s flywheel housing features a 4″ x 6″ (10cm x 15cm) square opening that can accommodate branches with multiple limbs, designed for convenience and efficiency.

Discharge Chute

The discharge chute on the WC46 wood chipper can be rotated 360 degrees, allowing you to direct wood chips exactly where you want.
