The WG24 stump grinder from Woodland Mills, PTO Stump Grinder WG24 powered and designed to be connected directly to your tractor’s 3-point hitch system, comes equipped with a 24″ (61cm) diameter solid steel grinding flywheel and 34 tungsten carbide cutting teeth. This machine can make the removal of tree stumps a breeze and is especially useful for hardwood trees found in your forest. For convenience, a chainsaw holder is included on the stump grinder and the WG24 is compatible with quick hitch receivers. These stump grinders are extremely rugged and are engineered to deliver optimal performance when run on tractors with 15-45hp at the PTO. With the ability to grind up to 6″ (15cm) below the ground, this machine can easily remove roots and prepare the ground for grading or grass.or grading or grass.
Tractor Requirements
For optimal performance, the WG24 stump grinder is designed to work best with tractors that have independent PTO shafts that are not connected to the transmission drive system, hydrostatic drive. This allows the operator to control the speed of the tractor independently of the PTO speed, which is important for achieving the desired grinding rate. The grinder is pulled through the stump by the tractor, so the speed at which the tractor moves is crucial and should be kept separate from the PTO shaft speed. It is recommended to operate the WG24 stump grinder at 540rpm.
Sub 250 meters per hour maximum speed recommended for clutched transmission tractors.

This machine is designed to work with tractors that have PTO power ranging from 15-45hp and makes it possible to easily remove stumps from your property. With the ability to grind up to 6″ (15cm) below the ground, the WG24 PTO drive stump grinder can remove roots and prepare the ground for grading or grass.
For easy transportation around your property, the WG24 stump grinder comes equipped with a chainsaw holder. Additionally, it is quick attach compatible, making hooking up the grinder to your tractor quick and easy for customers equipped with a quick attach receiver.
The Woodland Mills WG24 Stump Grinder comes with a PTO shaft and is a slip clutch style PTO shaft.
