Following its success, we recognised the need for the same innovation on compact and mid-sized tractors, leading to the release of the WG24 PRO. Built on the proven performance of the WG24, the WG24 PRO is designed for tractors with 15–45 PTO horsepower and delivers a new level of performance, safety and operator comfort. Its advanced shock absorption system applies consistent pressure to the cutting wheel, helping reduce kickback while improving control and cutting efficiency. A built-in draw speed indicator assists operators in maintaining the ideal travel speed for smoother, more productive stump grinding. The chain-style chip deflector helps contain debris, keeping the work area safer and cleaner. Designed for demanding Australian conditions, the WG24 PRO is built with a heavy-duty solid steel grinding flywheel and premium tungsten carbide cutting teeth, delivering the strength, durability and precision needed for professional-quality stump removal.

Tractor Requirements

The WG24 PRO Stump Grinder is designed for tractors equipped with a rear PTO (Power Take-Off). For the best performance, it should be used with tractors that have an independent PTO, allowing the PTO speed and the tractor’s ground speed to be controlled separately.

As the tractor pulls the stump grinder through the stump, maintaining the correct travel speed is essential for smooth, efficient grinding. An independent PTO enables the operator to adjust the tractor’s forward speed without affecting the PTO speed, ensuring consistent cutting performance.

For optimum operation, the WG24 PRO should be run at the standard 540 PTO RPM. For clutched transmission tractors, a maximum speed of 250 meters per hour is suggested.

Technical Specifications

The WG24 PRO’s unique shock absorption system is engineered to deliver smooth, controlled operation. It applies consistent pressure to the cutting wheel, helping to minimise kickback while maintaining steady contact with the stump. The result is improved cutting performance, enhanced operator control, and a smoother grinding experience.

A built-in Go/No-Go visual indicator allows the operator to easily monitor the stump grinder’s working angle from the tractor seat. This helps maintain the optimum operating range and travel speed, ensuring consistent cutting performance while reducing unnecessary stress on the machine.

HEAVY-DUTY LARGE DIAMETER FLYWHEEL

The WG24 PRO is equipped with a heavy-duty 24″ (610 mm) solid steel grinding flywheel fitted with 34 tungsten carbide cutting teeth arranged in a sequential cutting pattern. This design delivers smoother, more efficient cutting, reduces vibration, and provides fast, consistent stump removal in demanding Australian conditions.

QUICK HITCH COMPATIBLE

The WG24 PRO features a Category 1 three-point linkage, making it compatible with a wide range of compact and utility tractors. It is also quick hitch compatible, allowing for faster, easier attachment and removal so you can spend less time setting up and more time getting the job done.

ADJUSTABLE CHAINSAW HOLDER

The WG24 PRO comes standard with an adjustable chainsaw holder featuring durable nylon slides to suit a range of chainsaw bar sizes. It provides a secure and convenient way to carry your chainsaw on the tractor, keeping it safely stored and within easy reach as you move between jobs around your property.

CHAIN-EQUIPPED CHIP DEFLECTOR

The WG24 PRO features a chain-style chip deflector designed to keep woodchips and debris contained close to the work area. This helps improve operator safety, reduces mess, and makes clean-up quicker and easier once the job is done.
