The PTO Stump Grinder WG24 from Woodland Mills is powered and designed to connect directly to your tractor’s 3-point hitch system. It comes equipped with a 24″ (61cm) diameter solid steel grinding flywheel and 34 tungsten carbide cutting teeth. This machine makes tree stump removal effortless and is especially effective on hardwood trees found in your forest. The WG24 offers durability and efficiency, making it an essential tool for stump removal, yard, and land transformation.

Tractor Requirements

For optimal performance, the WG24 is designed to work best with tractors that have independent PTO shafts not connected to the transmission drive system, including hydrostatic drives. This allows the operator to control tractor speed independently of the PTO speed, which is important for achieving the desired grinding rate. The grinder is pulled through the stump by the tractor, so the tractor’s movement speed is crucial and should remain separate from the PTO shaft speed. Operating the WG24 stump grinder at 540 RPM PTO is recommended.

For clutched transmission tractors, a maximum speed of 250 meters per hour is suggested.
