Capacity
The WC68 wood chipper, exclusively designed by Woodland Mills, is engineered to handle hardwood and forest debris like that found in Australia. This economical yet powerful chipper boasts a massive 6” (15cm) chipping capacity (depending on tractor hp) and utilizes an auto hydraulic feed system.
Hydraulic Infeed System
The PTO Wood Chipper WC68 infeed roller measures a substantial 8.25 inches (21cm) in diameter and is powered by the chipper’s self-contained hydraulic system. The roller’s direction and speed can be adjusted, making it simple to feed branches of varying shapes and sizes.
Flywheel
The 24” (61cm) diameter solid steel flywheel of the WC68 is dynamically balanced, 3/4” (2cm) thick, and runs on a 2” (5cm) diameter shaft. It is supported by 2 industrial and greaseable flanged bearings for durability.
Chipper Blades
The WC68 chipper comes equipped with four robust hardened steel reversible chipper blades that are spaced 90 degrees apart. These blades can be flipped to make use of both edges, extending their lifespan.
Folding Infeed Chute
The PTO Wood Chipper WC68 features a spacious infeed chute with a 6” x 8” (15cm x 20cm) opening, allowing for easy and efficient feeding of branches with multiple limbs. Additionally, the infeed chute can be folded up to reduce the chipper’s footprint for storage or transport purposes.
